The countdown is on to
the 34th annual Billy Barker Days Festival!
WANTED
Contestants for
this year's NEW events:
- Contestants for this
year's NEW event 'The Throne Race,' which will take place before the parade on
Front Street. What is this event? It's the old bed races, but with a twist -
rather than a bed with wheels, it's a toilet & 4x6 base with wheels. There
must be 5 contestants; contact office for an entry form.
- Volunteers, Volunteers,
Volunteers! Needed for Seniors' Day, Kids' Day, etc.
- Contestants for the Kids'
Airband; deadline is Fri., July 13th.
- Entries for the Business
Decorating Contest; deadline is Sat., July 14th
- " Entries as well as local
musicians & convertibles for the Parade; deadline is Friday, July
13th.
Costume Rental
is available through the Billy Barker Days office. Costumes are limited, so if
you want to participate in the Gold Rush spirit contact us soon!
The 2007 Souvenir
Programs are now on sale at various outlets in town, and at the Souvenir
Booth for $2.00. Purchase one today and find all of the Festival information
contained in forty pages of excellence.
The Souvenir
Booth is up and running beside the Post Office downtown. Find our 'Salute
to the Forest Industry' logo on pins, spoons, shirts, and Italian charms - buy
something to remember your 34th Billy Barker Days.

and information are available through the Billy Barker Days Office, located
beside the Museum, which is now open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. We can
